Yes, with the Uniconnect+ you have the ability to tune your car or flash it back to stock right at home.
Will this void my warranty?
Anytime you tune your ECU you have the chance of voiding your factory warranty. The Uniconnect+ is special because it allows you to re-flash your vehicle no matter where you are as long as you have an internet connection. Therefore, you can flash your car back to stock software.
Will This work for my ECU and TCU?
The Uniconnect+ is able to port tune both your ECU (Engine Control Unit) and TCU (Transmission Control Unit).
What is a Port Flash?
A Port flash is how the UniConnect+ works. Using your OBDII port, the UniConnect+ connects to your ECU and TCU via this port inside your car. Port Flashing has become the standard in tuning in recent years. This way of tuning makes it much easier for not only shops but users to tune cars.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, In order to install your tune you will need an internet connection. The tune is directly pulled from Unitronics servers and is not stored in the cable or your computer.
How long does it take to flash my car?
It can take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to complete the tuning process. *sometimes it can take longer*
Can the Uniconnect+ be used for more than one car?
At this point, it can only be used for one car. Down the line you may be able to link multiple cars to one cable.

At home tuning made easy
The UniConnect+ is a very straight forward tool to flash your Audi! Easily connects your laptop to your car for doing an at home flash tune! I highly recommend this tool and the Unitronic tunes! Easy, Simple, Foolproof

UniConnect allows you to easily tune and/or flash back to stock from the comfort of your home. The process takes no more than 30 minutes, as long as you have the right processing power on your PC. I ran Parallels on my MacBook which worked pretty well.

If your computer isn’t reading the cable you need to allow signatures in your windows computer. It’s a dope tool you can even diagnose issues. You’ll love it.

Does what it is supposed to
Cable does what it is supposed to do. The software and tuning process is very intuitive and quick.

Uconnect+
So far I only used it for flushing Stage 1+ on my car, erasing fault codes, re-flushing stock settings back and flushing St.1+ back. The first time the St.1+ did not want to proceed, showing error messages, but on the third try it went OK. Erasing codes did not give me any troubles. Re-flushing, after a few tries, went OK. And installing St.1+ back gave me a couple of errors, but eventually I had a success installing it. After the recent software upgrade I haven't tried it yet. Waiting on TCU SW to be available for my 2018 Golf R to be released so I can install it on my car. Thanks Unitronic for a great product. ****++ stars.

150$ tool for holding flash images and flashing ECU.
Datalogging...to _what_ facility exactly? Absolutely _no_ documentation, but comes in a fancy clamshell.
Maybe split the difference on writing some technical documentation and finding a less fancy case?Two stars for positive connectivity to OBD port, and being supported in various flavors of Windows in a virtualized environment.

Great tune at home option
This is the first vehicle I've ever tuned and I was very interested in tuning at home. The UniConnect+ was extremely easy to use. I simply followed the instructions and had a whole new ECU and DSG tune on my car in less than an hour. Definitely would recommend!

Easy to use
This was easy to use and programmed the car with my laptop. I do wish they would integrate with Apple but it's not a big issue. Happy with the way it worked.
