Unitronic®'s 3” Downpipe for the 1.4TSI EA211 engines is a direct bolt-on upgrade that eliminates unwanted restrictions in the factory downpipe, providing gains of +41 HP and +70 LB-FT of torque over stock when combined with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software for the ECU.
Unitronic’s 3” Downpipe features the highest quality materials and craftsmanship and is backed with an industry-leading limited lifetime warranty. Constructed of T304 stainless steel tubing, T316 stainless steel flanges, TIG welded construction, and featuring a unique v-band fastening system, Unitronic’s Downpipe for the 1.4TSI is built to outlast the life of the vehicle. Exhaust gasses continue through a high-flow metallic matrix catalyst and uses a heat shield to reduce radiant heat dispersing through the engine bay. Finishing it off, the included 76.2mm to 55mm reducer allows for a direct bolt-on fitment with the factory cat-back exhaust.

2017 Jetta 1.4T
Great downpipe! I also have a cold air intake installed. After installing the downpipe the intake is now louder. The downpipe did not make much noise difference itself with the stock exhaust but there is a slight difference. However, there is a great difference in power and torque. It does pull a CEL without the stage 2 tune for the O2 sensors but the tune clears that. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great add on!
I just installed this on my 2016 last weekend. Install was a pain. I wouldn’t do it again but the finished result is amazing. I had the 1+ tune before and the stage 2 with this pipe is quite a bit quicker. The sound is a lot meaner. Can’t wait to surprise some people at green lights!

I ordered this Downpipe in a hurry as I had already order my Unitronic Stage 2 tune, and had bought a used downpipe that ended up having a leak. I installed this downpipe in my driveway with hand tools in about 3 hours, by myself. It's a straight forward installation, and the quality of Unitronic's downpipe is excellent! I love my Jetta GLI being at Stage 2 power/torque and this downpipe sounds great at cold start and in upper RPM's; though it tough to hear over the turbo spooling!
Unitronic threw two extra 3" sealing rings into my box as well, which was nice as they are just thin aluminum. This pipe fit perfectly and did not require any custom modification to install.

Very impressed
Just want to say I am very impressed with this downpipe. It took the shop hour or hour and half to put on. Had enough clearance, and the shop guy said it went very smooth. Also no check engine light so fair, so that made me happy.

Still great product
After a few hours of driving and no check engine light, I guess the computer felt something different and has thrown the light 😂😂😂
