Description

The Neuspeed one piece billet steel short shifter easily installs on to transmission's selector shaft. The Neuspeed short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40% - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism.

The NEUSPEED short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action.

  • Review shared from Neuspeed Short Shift Kit - 5spd (06-09 Rabbit, 10-19 Golf, 05-19 Jetta, 16-19 Jetta 1.4T)

The Neuspeed shifter takes maybe 15 minutes to install and after the install, no adjustment of the shifter cables was required. To me it appears the reduction in the Neuspeed Short Shifter is about 40%. After road testing the GTI after the install I'm very pleased with the results of this mod.

    Easy install

Super easy to install. I spent more time removing the battery than switching out the shifter.
