Description
The new KW Variant 3 Coilover System is state-of-the-art technology for skilled and experienced drivers. The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving setup. These unique systems with the 3 individually adjustable components allow for adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the highspeed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been preset by our engineers.
With compression and rebound stage damping that can be set separately and independently of each other, the damper setup can be customized to your personal driving preferences or vehicle changes such as weight, tire characteristics, or altered vehicle rigidity. True performance optimization is only possible with this unique, patented system. For example, this allows the compression damping force to be increased and get more grip from the tires, to improve cornering behavior and reduce squat without simultaneously altering the rebound stage damping, which is optimally matched to the spring rate – a scenario that results in reduced grip and the associated loss of performance.
Lowering:
Front Lowering: 0.2" to 1.0"
Rear Lowering: 0.2" to 1.0"
Notes
- 01: Front and rear height adjustable by threaded shock bodies
- 67: Valving is adjusted by adjustment knobs; rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the design of the vehicle.
- 88: Electronic damping control has to be deactivated.
- A deactivation kit is included in the delivery.
- 90: Aluminium suspensions struts
