GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles.
The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the weak point, however, is the valve, however, itself. So GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances. Many late-model European cars use ECU controlled solenoid-type diverter valves. This is a good concept because the valve can react very quickly and it only opens when it needs to.
However, there are some problems with these valves. There are typically two types of solenoid-actuated diverter valves found standard on VAG and European cars, both of which have their shortcomings.
Common OE Problems:
- The diaphragm types are commonly known to rupture, especially when boost and temperature are increased as a result of chip tuning.
- The plastic piston-type leaks far more than most people realise (by design, not from wear), and doesn’t always close after a high-boost gear shift.
The DV+ addresses the factory valve problems with a very simple and elegant solution. Keeping the factory solenoid retains all the benefits of the stock system, and replacing the valve parts with indestructable metal components ensures strength and reliability no matter how much boost you run.
Customer Review:
Well, that was probably the best mod I've done in a while. I don't know if I had a torn dv or what, but the car just felt super smooth, built boost quicker, and held more boost at top end. Pulled like a freight train on the highway with my methanol spraying. It seems to respond quicker between shifts as well. Basically it's better everywhere

Tight fit but it works!!
I actually ordered for a 2019 passat tsi. Even though I entered my car in it said the part doesn't fit, it does fit. It's a really tight fit but it does fit and the installation is a huge pain. But I'm loving it so far! I wanna take the spring out and see how different it is but after spending 3 hours installing it, I'm just gonna leave the spring in.

Quality part
Nice upgrade from stock. I bought a tune so this definitely helps keep boost over the stock valve. Install wasn’t horrible but still a PITA on my ‘14 CC. Btw this valve isn’t going to make louder blow off sounds if that’s what you’re after. At least I didn’t notice it.

2009 TTS DV+
Install of the DV+ could not have been easier on my TTS. The housing is right up front and center. Took 10 minutes. I installed it in sport mode, with the supplied spring behind the piston. Noticed no change in sound from the engine bay (which is good for me). After driving it for about 50 miles got no CEL lights or any other sign of troubles. I did notice better throttle response, the turbo seemed to spool up quicker and felt like it pulled harder. It also held pressure longer. Definitely an overall difference in turbo performance over factory.

An easy mod for a right price
Installation was very simple and easy and the results are phenomenal! A must have for any turbo-charged car.

Did the job
Just recently added a CTS cold air to my CC and when at 3500rpm it would cause a annoying whistle. Chatted with Jim@Moddedeuros and he suggested the DV+, it did the job. No more whistle and much better response time. Thanks to whole crew at Moddedeuros

Must have for throttle response
Does the job! Its quite! 15 minute install!

Works well
I have this diverter valve on my gti mated to the unitronic dv relocation kit. This fits perfectly and works just as well.

My DV+ failed after 20k miles on a stock engine. Threw a P0299 code and was dropping oil from the barrel connection. Replaced with a new D model oem valve, code is gone. I dont notice any difference in performance between the two valves. For the price these should never fail.

Thought I wasn’t gonna feel a difference but I was surprised, worth the buy
So I knew that my stock DV was prone to failure so I decided to replace it before it broke, the installation was quick and easy but I wasn’t expecting this thing to do much when I first got it. Mainly cause I’m not tuned yet. When I first took it out for a drive it didn’t feel much different but the next day I was driving and I redlined the car (mk6 GTI). Now before when the car would near redline the turbo would just die out but after I installed the DV+ I noticed a huge different in gears 3-6, it really holds the boost in the higher Rpms. Now back to when I redlined in 3rd gear, I was expecting the turbo to die out but man that turbo just kept on going, redline actually pulled hard for the first time and I’m still running the stock tune. Overall I’m very impressed.
Oh and they gave me a cool sticker!

Does not fit all 1.8t engines
Does not fit all 1.8t engines I have a b7 2015 vw passat se 1.8 because of turbo placement the blow off valve will not fit. I would have to change/ take off my turbo and do a lot of other stuff just for there to be room for the part to fit. Not worth 6-7 hours of labor.
-
Works well. Car holds boost longer now and sounds better than the plastic oem part.

Works great
Not sure if my factory DV was worn out or not but this definitely makes the car run smoother after the other mods I installed. Worth the money.

1.8L TSI gen 3
I’ve been trying to figure out how to locate the stock valve, but it’s almost impossible to locate it from the top of the car, it’s extremely easy from the bottom. I wouldn’t have known unless I watch a video on YouTube, i don’t know why it’s not in the instructions but oh well. I’m sure it’s a great product though

Fixed My Issue
I had a cel come on with a code p0229 i believe for underboost after a hard pull on the highway. Was worried as I heard it can be the turbo going bad. Did feel a lack of power and some leaning. Got this and boom! Issue fixed no more cel and it pulls better for being stock. Can't imagine how it feels tuned!

Great product
I love my dv+. It was easy and quick to install. It’s quite but made a noticeable increase of throttle response. Every thing feels faster and every once in a while it will flutter 10/10 would but again
-
Easy upgrade
Quick install, easy to get to. 3 - 5mm bolts, 2 hose clamps, and a pocket screwdriver had it out, disassembled, and installed in under 20 minutes.

Go fast bits rocks
I had a new engine AND turbo installed about 5000 miles ago. I've been modding it ever since.
I assumed that the NEW type D style diverter valve was doing its job. Well, apparently not.
I upgraded to a K04 turbo, and subsequent upgrade APR stage 2+ tune. I noticed right away,
that the gauge went ALOT (duh), higher on the OEM gauge, and fluctuated.
After the GOfast bits valve install, (which was a cakewalk to install), the boost went ALOT higher, ALOT
faster, and STAYED there.
Can't say enough good things about this valve. Another show piece item that can't be seen on my car. :>(
Highly recommend this mod.
And, I THOUGHT MY oem diverter valve/setup was working properly...……….NOT so much.
GoFastBits DV+ kicks ass!!! -
This thing def makes a difference, especially when the turbo kicks in.
