EBC Yellowstuff brake pads have undergone ECE Brake safety testing, ensuring exceptional performance, even from cold, surpassing or equaling stock pads. When exposed to heat, Yellowstuff showcases its impressive pedigree. They outperform FF-rated pads on Japanese cars, delivering a higher stopping grade. On German cars with GG-rated pads, Yellowstuff is one of the few aftermarket options that can match or exceed the performance of OE spec pads.

These high-efficiency performance pads offer exceptional friction and excellent heat resistance, making them a preferred choice for fast street cars and police vehicle brakes. In 2021, EBC upgraded Yellowstuff to comply with environmental regulations by eliminating copper from the mix, resulting in a longer-lasting pad. Due to the required longer bedding-in process, it is not recommended for track use. Instead, the Bluestuff formulation is suggested for track-day driving.

Yellowstuff's wide heat range allows for versatile applications, ranging from high-powered street cars to brake upgrades for trucks and SUVs. It is particularly valued for towing, heavy loads, and vehicles equipped with oversized wheels and tires. While it was previously suggested for trackday, drift, and Hillclimb races, its long bed-in process no longer makes it the recommended choice. For track use, the new RP range and SR series are recommended full race pads. For an entry-level race pad suitable for all vehicles, BlueStuff is highly recommended, offering excellent performance on both the street and track.
