Utilizing the factory air scoop, the DFG Tuning cold air intake for the MQB platform frees up the restriction found in the stock airbox and allows for cold air to flow into your car, resulting in added horsepower.
Along with additional horsepower, you can expect more sound from the turbo and diverter valve as the DFG Tuning intake system will not muffle the sound like the factory intake system.
Designed using mandrel-bent T6061 aluminum, this intake features a high temp black powder-coated steel airbox to protect your intake from the excess heat in the engine bay.

Great sound, great performance
I coupled this with a Neuspeed Power Module for my 2016 Audi S3 so I can't say much about it alone(although it does increase power) BUT I will say this matched with the NPM my car pulls SO much harder and I love it.

Buy It!
I installed this right after my 1+ Unitronic . Im sure the engine breaths better now. Thx to Zed4me on the install and review on Youtube I was able to make a educated purchase. ModdedEuros are a great company and havent had any problems with anything I purchased from them.
The fitment was great, the instructions detailed and quality materials. I cant say how long it takes as I installed a Diesel Geek Short shifter at the same time (Highly recommend Diesel Geek!!). Why not right, You have to pull the intake to get to the trans for the install. You will get a bit more noise as you can hear the air being ingested they the engine. I like driving with my window down or cracked to hear the vacuum sound even better. Also like the above comment, you can hear the waste gate some times if u dont have a blow off valve already.

Vacuum Hose issue
The placement of the vacuum hose is very bad. It stretches the line and it has fallen out multiple times in a couple days. The intake is fine but that is a big issue for me

Absolutely awesome intake. Installed in 20 minutes with a buddy. Looks great, sounds incredible, really truly opens up intake and blowoff sounds. I paired mine with a boomba BOV adapter and couldn't be happier.

2017 Audi S3

Awesome intake
Took the plunge on this pretty uncommon intake for the mk7. Zero regrets, fitment and workmanship are top notch. I had zero issues installing it and it sounds/looks amazing! The 3.5 piping would also likely have an advantage over most other systems if you install a turbo inlet also.

DNF Intake

Induction sounds amazing especially paired with DV/BOV or GFB DV+
Car definitely feels more responsive and hold power in the higher RPM.
This intake is not overly loud so it perfect for daily driving. -
Dfg tuning intake
Shipping took too long, customer service was bad, intake did have some scratches on it, sounds great, works as supposed to, installation wasn’t that hard but instructions could be a lot better.

DFG tuning intake
Put this on my 2019 gti s DSG #mk7.5 /// Unless you have stage 2 with a downpipe the intake is useless to be honest.. the sound kind of gets annoying but it really adds to the performance and the sound isn’t as annoying with the tune and downpipe.. but it was a very easy install. Looks good when you open the hood. Not a bad price , but could be cheaper.

Great part for the price.
Looks great and sounds great on my mk7 gti. Install was very easy. The only thing I didn't like was the airbox came in 2 peices. I would've liked it a bit more if the 2 peices were welded rather than having to assemble them. Other than that I love the part.
