Description
Iridium Power® best demonstrates its performance improvement during acceleration. The world's smallest center electrode and specially shaped ground electrode deliver maximum spark energy while withstanding temperatures greater than 4000º F.
These features combine to achieve higher ignitability and require lower spark voltage than ever before. As a result, acceleration improves in comparison with normal plugs.
*These spark plugs are one stage colder vs the OEM plugs
What does Heat Range mean?
"Generally, low power engines such as lawn mowers don’t produce a large amount of heat, hence use a low heat range (or hot) spark plug such as a 4 heat range. This means the spark plug will heat up easily and reach its optimal operating temperature. High performance engines on the other hand produce a large amount of heat, hence a high heat range (or cold) spark plug such as a 10 heat range needs to be used to resist the heat developed by the engine." - NGK
These plugs will work best on cars that are stage 2 or higher.

installation
Follow the OEM installation procedure
Do not adjust the spark plug gap. Use of a spark plug cleaner for short periods is acceptable if low pressure is used. Iridium Power spark plug gap is already set at the optimum distance. If the electrode is damaged by gap adjustment or cleaning, the spark plugs will not perform to their best.

Night and Day
Difference in smoothness of engine idle and without being too dramatic it really feels like a new car right off the lot. I had no idea. Of course I replaced the OEM coil heads with the APR RS3 coils. Another thing I noticed that was obvious. My IS20 turbo would cut out around 4-5k rpm. Well, it doesn’t now if that makes any sense. If you haven’t done this extremely easy upgrade I highly recommend it.
