Description
The heart of the CTS Turbo MK6 2.0TSI turbo upgrade kit is the Borg Warner K04-0064 turbocharger. This turbocharger is commonly used in OEM applications such as the Audi S3 available in Europe. The highlights of this Borg Warner turbocharger in our kit is the 'forged mill' compressor wheel, which brings numerous benefits to the enthusiast. The technology used in the production of these turbos provides us with a variety of benefits, reduced compressor wheel weight (faster spool), increased strength, and greater surface area of the compressor wheel. Because of the 'forged mill' technology Borg Warner can increase the effective surface area of the compressor wheel, which results in greater airflow than conventional cast compressor wheels. This kit is by far the best 'bang for the buck' modification available for VW and Audi enthusiasts with the 2.0TSI engine.

Cts kicks ass.
Ive had my CTS KO4 on my 2013 beetle, now, for about 6 months.
Best investment, for bang on my buck, yet.
The power, *(along with APR stage 2+ tune is unreal.
Highly recommend this mod!!!
When youre used to your oem turbo running out of breath by 4500, this KO4 goes til redline, w/o a pause.
You will have to install a much better intercooler tho.
Stock one is good for one hard pull, in summer. Then heat soak/aka/power loss.
Love the turbo!
High quality piece. Like All of CTS parts! -
You gotta upgrade!!!
I purchased, and had installed, my CTS K04 turbo, about a month ago. The day after, I took my car to Further Performance, and had them UPGRADE the existing APR stage 2+ tune, for the turbo.
All I can say, is this turbo is nite and day, compared to the OEM one.
But...……..with the OEM one, and stage 2 tune, the power was INSTANTANEOUS. With the K04, it isn't. Takes a bit to build boost. Not a long time, but NOTICEABLE.
Also. You WILL need an aftermarket intercooler. OEM one is good for about 2 pulls, and it'll heatsoak, cutting your power in half.
Also...…….AFTER you DO upgrade, and purchase an aftermarket intercooler, (I installed a CTS FMIC in mine), you will REALLY notice a turbo lag. It takes a while to fill ALL that area in the
intercooler, and then get it into your engine.
But, this turbo DOES pull. Where the OEM one falls off before 5 grand, (more like around 4500), THIS one pulls TO 7 grand, easily. NO need to wing it that high, because it makes plenty of
power lower, but you can. (and I do). :>)
I also installed that GFB BOV around the same time. Absolutely makes this setup come alive. Buries the OEM dash boost gauge on my 2013 beetle.
HIGHLY highly recommend these mods!!! -
Love my GTI even more now. KO4 is where its at. Thanks Modded Euros

Wanted to go KO4 and was looking at this or APR. CTS is well known on the forums and I have other products on my car. This kit is just as good as their other stuff. Love the increase in hp
