CTS Turbo is proud to announce an official release of our new K04 FSI/TSI Transverse Turbocharger Upgrade
Their engineers designed the compressor cover and exhaust housing to work with the larger K04 CHRA, exactly how intended. While other manufacturers simply install a larger CHRA into a small factory-spec housing. Beware of these hybrid builds, they are not made to provide optimal flow for the larger turbine wheel and can lead to poor performance and premature failure.
High-quality castings are CNC machined to replace your factory turbocharger and do not require any additional parts to be installed. All you need to run this K04 FSI/TSI Transverse Turbocharger Upgrade is a K04 tune for your ECU and a performance downpipe.
This kit is by far the best ‘bang for the buck’ modification available for VW and Audi enthusiasts with the 2.0FSI and 2.0TSI engine. With proper tuning and supporting mods, this turbo will support 350HP/360TQ!

You gotta upgrade to 'at least' this K04
I've had my CTS K04 installed for over a year now. (did it just before turkeyday in 2018.
Got the subsequent APR upgrade/tune for it, along with a CTS FMIC, and all the other goodies.
The difference between the K04 and oem twinkie turbo is night and day. OEM turbo quits pulling
runs out of breath before 4000 rpm. K04 goes to 7 grand HARD. My son has a 2014 GTI, and my
beetle 'wastes' it.
Highly recommend this mod. If I wasnt' retired now, I'd be upgrading to the BIGGER turbo yet, but
the K04 on the APR 100 octane race tune is just nuts. 1st and 2nd gear are pretty much useless. Just lite up
the tires.
Again, highly recommend this mod.
Wish I had pics of it. Again, ALL the cool stuff on the engine is HIDDEN/tucked away so you can't see it. Bummer.
