I purchased this intake about 2 weeks ago and it's a great product overall. Quality is superb and definitely added to the aggression of the sound of my 2018 Audi A3 when you get on it. Works great with the CTS Turbo Diverter Valve kit, love how loud the turbo is now! Only downside is that I purchased this without realizing that the gen 2 model of my A3 has an extra MAF sensor attached to the intake tube that this intake doesn't account for, so unfortunately running with a check engine light on now until I find a solution. Check for this before you buy this intake!

Have a CTS downpipe on my car so decided to get their intake. Fitment was good and arrived pretty quick

So I decided to replace my APR enclosed intake because it in my opinion is not that great dispute good reviews.
After some reflection decided on the CTS system here.
This system however I had to make a lot of modification to to get it to fit what are original fittings in my car which I really was not prepared for. I had to buy serval adaptive parts & spent much more time than I should have done , & I’m a competent enthusiast. It’s an air intake it should not be complicated but I’m afraid it wasn’t straight forward , I’m not impressed.

Went with the CTS intake and CTS big turbo inlet for my '19 GLI 35th, 6spd. Install took about 75mins with a little creativity to get certain pieces to fit. The result: some throttle response improvement, moderate mid to top end power, and HUGE improvement in desired engine noise. Normal driving, windows up and my co-pilot GF barely notices a difference, but crack the windows and send it...it actually scared the crap out of her!

One quick tip: If your VW/Audi has the SAI, the vacuum line attaches to the adapter, not the intake tube. The inlet on the intake tube is designed for non-SAI VWs and needs to be capped off. The cap shipped in place by ME.com is a bit loose, so it'd be best to get a better fitting one or shrink wrap the inlet and use the supplied one over the top.

Install was relatively easy and took about 2 hours (mainly only because I had to fully remove, after install, to assemble the heat shield). My own fault, but the drilled holes didn't line up on the shield, so I had to drill out a couple. All in, the sound is minimally louder at idle, but really livened it up on throttle and gives it the whoosh of the back pressure in between shifts. Recommend!
I am adding the CTS downpipe and the stage 2 EQT DSG and ECU tune.

Easy to install. Car feels amazing and sounds great. I bought together the CTS Turbo inlet pipe, CTS Turbo Intake, and ECS Tuning DV spacer (from ECS tuning site) and my 2016 Audi a3 sounds and feels AMAZING. Thank you ModdedEuros!

I’m beyond pleased with my purchase. The CTS Turbo Intake fits perfectly, looks beautiful, and sounds AMAZING on my Audi A3 Quattro. Shipping was fast even with all the current trade issues worldwide. I installed it within 3 hours but took my time and made sure I did everything perfectly.

This intake seems to be built well with good materials. I had two issues during install. One being trying to get the shield onto the grommets even with WD40 & tightening the clams on the rear end of the pipe was difficult with the little space to work with.

Other than that. It looks clean and the sound is amazing. Sounds almost like a blow off valve as the turbo releases. Exactly what I was looking for.

This was my very first aftermarket purchase & won’t be my last.. I’m obsessed with the intake and CTS to this day. I love the look and the performance is even better. I’ve since paired the intake with a blow off valve, turbo inlet and outlet pipe, and performance coils all from CTS. Really enhancing the power and the turbo noise we all love to hear 🥵

I purchased this part and installed it myself. It’s a great product! I had an engine light pop up because I did not see the step to reconnect the secondary vacuum line, but once I got that connected, the car operated without a problem. Install time only took about an hour including taking the stock intake out. Sound and operated phenomenally.

Honestly didn’t expect it to make this much of a difference in my 2018 a3, but the turbo sounds are crazy and it adds a good kick, especially in lower rpms
