Big fan of CTS as they make some sick parts. Picked up their intake as well as an exhaust setup for my mk6. Im in love all over again with my GTI.

I bought the CTS air intake for my 2011 MK6 GTI and it's a pretty straight forward install, but you do need to have a few tools on hand prior to starting. You will be mostly unfastening torx bolts with a small 1/4" ratchet or screw driver that accepts torx bits. Also be ready to deal with the VW quick connect PCV tube that goes into new intake pipe located in the back near the firewall. For some reason this gave me hell to take off of the original stock intake pipe as well as to put it back onto the new one. Everything else went pretty smooth. Finally keep in mind, that you will need to make adjustments to the pipe especially where the elbow meets the MAF sensor since the forums always mention to push the elbow further into the new boot to clear the top of the brake reservoir cylinder cap. If not you will have vibrations coming into your brake foot pedal like i did. Once you make those adjustments and follow up in checking your boot connections are tight then you should have no dash lights or issues. The car sounds great now. I can hear the diverter valve do it's thing!

I am overall very pleased with my purchase of this product. Install was not to complicated for the most part. There are some things however that I feel would make it easier. The clamps come in different sizes but there is no indication to where they should go and it definitely matters as the small clamps won't fit all hose attachments as some are bigger than others. It also would have been nice if it had an attachment in the middle to bolt onto the stock intake housing that helps bring the intake position lower and keep it in better place.
Other than these very minor tidbits, it has a fantastic sound now with the intake. You can hear the turbo blow off well and will make a good difference in power when you tune to stage 1.

I bought this intake as well as the CTS catted downpipe and I am very pleased with both. I knocked both out in the same day and took me about three hours. Installation for both of these was very easy and straight forward. I was happy with the performance gains but would recommend going stage two just to make your performance smoother. It will also help with the unavoidable check engine light. Overall both products were great and great quality. Also shop from here cause they send you a cool Modded Euro air freshener with the German flag. A nice little bonus!

Been shopping around for a while for a cold air intake for my mk6 gti, finally decided to go with CTS and WOW I’m loving it, great sound and product

I got this intake about 3 months ago and has since grown on me. The mounting position is poorly design on the filter tray. There is only one location on the entire filter tray that mounts to the inside of the car, shifts back and forth. I also noticed that the heat shield does not line up with the bottom of the hood to properly seal. To me these things weren't a big deal at first but began to look cheap as time went on. Its an intake, it makes "whoosh whoosh" and that is about it. Will be selling this off and getting an IE intake instead.

I am super happy with this intake. Was packaged great everything arrived as it should! The only negative thing I have to say about the package is the hose clamps aren’t good quality. They will strip out before being snug. Everyone I received stripped out causing a trip to the store to buy stronger ones. Also after installing I got the whistle in my Diverter Valve right off, but this is common in mk6 GTI’s by what I understand. Other than the hose clamps I absolutely love the sound I get now. The spoil of the turbo is quite noticeable and the pressure release is the sound I love the most!

Install is pretty easy, intake performs as it should with the exception of the loud whistle sound that it makes at WOT can be annoying. People have said if you go ko4 it goes away.

The CTS Turbo Air Intake was exactly what I was looking for. It arrived in a timely manner with no problems. The sound...it is night and day from the OEM intake. As far as performance, I’d like to say throttle response is slightly better as well as it not losing so much power in the higher RPM. I also have some other mods done to the engine/turbo, so I think this really improved airflow to everything else I’ve done to this point. Overall, very happy with the intake and ModdedEuros costumer service is second to no one. Thank you!

Stage 3 ko4 and you can feel the up top breath a little better. Def here the turbo spooling and what not. Package great! Fit perfect. Have to play the pipe in a bit but it all worked out in about 15 min with basic tools. Recommend to upgrading from stock air box!

Im not really a car nut but this definatly make the car sound better

Very nice of an intake looks beautiful, but there is a high pitched scream whenever i get over 3.5 RPMs and its a common problem with these but all together very nice, installation was a struggle only because we had none of the right tools!.. lol

So installation was not all that cool. Reason being is the heat shield doesn't line up like it should, but overall I am happy with it. Makes driving extra fun.

This intake sounds amazing took about an hour to install. Only problem I had was getting the new turbo inlet hose on other than that very satisfied.

Very pleased with how my car sounds and looks now after this install. Highly recommend

I bought this CAI about a month ago now and couldn't be happier. I'm running this on a 2016 MK6 Jetta 1.8 TSI. This mod was the first one I have made to the car and I couldn't be more satisfied. Gives a beautiful look to the engine bay, and sounds fantastic. From a performance standpoint, the throttle response is immediately noticeable, and the fuel efficiency has also gone up when driving easy. The price was right and the shipping from ModdedEuros was fast and easy.

Now when you are really giving it the gas you can hear that CAI working its magic, although this hurts fuel economy the smiles per gallon are well worth it. 5 out of 5 stars from me. This mod is the perfect jump off point for anyone looking to improve their cars ride and performance. I plan to add a lot more modifications in the near future, but this was a great starting point for me and I highly recommend to others as well.

should’ve really looked at it better , didn’t think tsi engines were different , bought this for my mk6 gti and it did fit but It did not have a adapter to connect to the intake , it shows on the pictures but didnt have it on my actual intake pretty disappointed

The car feels more response and leaves a great sound! Install was relatively easy just make sure you have all the correct tools prior to make it go smoother! Overall very satisfied

This intake has made my car sound absolutely stunning. I'm almost certain there were no power gains made however, the sound alone that it produces now is well worth it and would recommend others to get it.

Ruined my cars intake manifold system do not recommend gave error code P015 haven’t had it installed two weeks and now my car is misfiring.

I ordered and received this product within 2 days (ordered Tuesday, delivered Thursday). The installation guide was easy to follow and understand. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to working on cars, although I do know a good deal, and the guide was perfect for me. Once I installed it I couldn’t wait to take it out. Wow! The car sounds amazing and I can tell a difference between stock and aftermarket EASILY! I definitely recommend this if it’s a fit for your car.

I've always bought my product for my jetta at modded euros. My exaust, intake, catless downpipe. All of it has been very amazing quality. My intake broke so I needed a new one. So I bought this one again. I got an email from a gentleman named sito, informing me that it was out of stock and told me I could get a different one or keep my order open and they will get one out to me within 2-4 weeks. I was very pleased of him reaching out to me and informing me of what was going on, instead of leaving me to guess when my order would get here like most companies do. Than a couple days he emailed me and he said they got some in and they sent one out to me. I am very satisfied with sito's customer service. And again very pleased with the product. I just purchased this intake as my first “true” engine modification for my 2013 GTI. It was delivered less than a week later and the install took me about 1.5 hours (I have basically no experience working under the hood). The first day for some reason I really couldn’t tell any difference with performance or sound, I was disappointed and thought that I just wasted over 300 bucks and and hour and half of my time. Then all of sudden I went to drive it the next day and I could definitely tell my modification was worth it. I felt a slight bump in performance, but where this intake really shines is the sound. You can really hear the turbo engage and you get a very satisfying “pshhh” when you let off the throttle. I’ve had the intake for only about a week but so far I am extremely happy with it and I would definitely recommend for someone who is modifying there car but doesn’t have $800 to spend on an APR intake.
