I expected this exhaust to be a lot louder, compared to the video being shown my mk6 gti sounds nothing like that, sounds similar to the stock exhaust. I just wanted my car to be a little bit louder but it really didn't make a difference, for 700$ it definitely should've made a bigger difference . Was the video above with a downpipe? if that's the case it should've been in the description but I have to get the down pipe anyway. Long story short I am a little disappointed in the sounds but the quality was good and shipping was fast.

Ive had this exhaust along with the cts turbo downpipe installed on my gti for about 3 months now, and i really like it so far. My only complaint is that the resonator hangs a little too low for my liking, has anybody had the cts turbo resonator deleted? And if so how does it sound like??

I have a MK6 GTI Stage 2 that already had the downpipe from CTS and the installation was a breeze for the downpipe and the cat-back as well. The cat-back added a nice smooth sound under acceleration and didnt make it too loud at idle. Exactly what i was looking for easy installation and smoother sound. Can’t beat this exhaust in my opinion.

I love the way this exhaust sounds. Right now I have the catless down pipe in which is a little bit loud for me but the tone is amazing. I am a little disappointed to find out that when you buy the catback and downpipe separate there is a pinch point towards the rear section of the exhaust that cuts down to 2.25". But overall the quality of the piece is stunning . Very nice muffler and resonator with CTS etched in. Fitment is excellent. Very straight forward install.
