2013 Audi A3 stage 2 ecu tune. I installed this downpipe
In about 3.5 -4 hours. I also have the neuspeed intake with stock exhaust. And a diverter valve upgrade. It's very quick now. Not even loud! My wife didn't even notice:) gained a bit of mid range torque. This is the best priced downpipe I could find. And I got it during a sale $450. Well worth it!

Got this pipe during a sale and was somewhat concerned about getting a CEL as I am currently not tuned. Picked up the Vibrant J bend O2 extender on Amazon in hopes of eliminating the chance of being emissions noncompliant and wow! This pipe sounds great, looks great, and fits very well. The vibrant J bend O2 extender with the medium insert has worked, never seen a CEL and my butt dyno says I certainly gained some horses and torque. Thanks Modded Euros, packaged well, great fast shipping and a quality product. I will come to you guys for more goodies in the future.

Car sounds like a beast and pulls like a train w/ stage 2 unitronic ecu software paired with this downpipe. I highly recommend getting new tires before going stage 2 because the wheel spin is insane.

Car is loud now with the stage 2 software and this down pipe. Went on very easy. Old pipe was alot harder to take off then installing this new one.

Overall very happy. Only this is with stage 2 tires spin like instantly. Hahaha

Nice quality, doesn't fit good at all, rattles her loudly, strong vibration, we had to heat up the hangers to adjust it so it would stop shaking so much.

I purchased the CTS Catted Downpipe for my 16 S3 and the manufacturing is top notch. The factory DP is a little tricky getting out but the CTS DP slides right in and bolts up nicely with no alignment issues! I was even more impressed with the sound...I have the factory catback and resonator but with the CTS DP I couldn't be more happy with the sound of the car now! The DP along with the Stage 2 Unitronic ECU/TCU tune is an awesome combination. Great product and I highly recommend!

Easy enough, good sound, perfect fit to stock ext.. You don't like swap out in 45 mins.

Great product...easy install. Note..you will have to trim the slip pipe to your needs. Took 1hr with hand tools on the garage floor with jacks. Good line up and clearance.

It's a great product. The exhaust is still quiet, just like stock. I can hear the turbo more and matches great with my CTS blowoff valve. They sound amazing! Better response also. CTS products are a good investment to add hp gains.

This downpipe is exactly what my mk7 GTI needed. Build quality is top notch, and fitment is perfect. I'm loving the increased exhaust note and faster spool. Shipping was excellent as well.

When I first looked at this downpipe I was unsure about it as far as how loud it would make my gti or if the high flow car would pop a check engine light on me. Once I got the old downpipe out and started reassembly it went in super easy. I I’ve had it on now for a couple weeks and it’s not necessarily really loud, but it does at a nice deep tone to the exhaust. I bought the o2 sensor spacer in conjunction with the downpipe and installed it. Couple weeks later still no check engine light(knock on wood). If you’re on the fence with this downpipe I’d definitely say buy it. Solid product, easy install. For anyone with a mk7.5 gti 2.0 TSI this will save you hours of fighting with the stock downpipe. Removed the o2 sensed located after the first cat first then snake it out the bottom.

14 Passat. Finish and welds look great, especially CTS logo on a metal plate. Fitment of the downpipe to the turbo was a little off causing the outlet pipe toward rear of car to be angled slightly upwards and not straight out. High-flow cat does emit fumes..not as bad as a catless downpipe but not as good as the stock setup. Trade off is tolerable for the HP gains. You can also hear turbo spools more and the car "purrs" now (don't have exhaust). 4/5 due to the slight fitment issue.

Installed on my mkv Jetta, great build quality and sounds no different with stock catback which is what I wanted. Turbo spools up faster and is more responsive.

I received the order well packaged and the Downpipe looks well made and top quality. I made the mistake of not thoroughly researching the sound this thing made with a non-oem 3" Catback from Borla. My Catback already made a nice sound with some crackles. But after I put this DP on, it was like Bruce Banner turning into Hulk. It's ridiculously loud to the point I am embarrassed to drive my beloved A3 Quattro. My car vibrates so much more and I need to drive so slow to avoid accelerating in my neighborhood at night to avoid waking everyone. I am going to try and put an Ultra Quiet resonator. If that doesn't work I will have to take the CTS DP off and put back the OEM and try and sell the CTS. It literally gives me a headache from the unbearable drone this DP creates. I think this would go well with the OEM Catback.

Very great downpipe. Installed with custom exhaust on my CC sounds very mean. Only problem is check engine light came on.

P013e rich lean error now, anyone have any idea how to make this work as intended without throwing a code or did I just buy something I may regret. Running it with apr stage 1 atm on my 15 gti also using a variant j spacer as well right off the top o2 sensor as previously recommended. I'll up my star level if I can get it fixed as it appears to be a solid piece of metal, good craftsmanship

Nice craftsmanship. Needed a new gasket and three flange bolts/washers but easy to install in my driveway. I did have to trim the slip pipe about 3” with a saw-zall. Exhaust is only slightly louder.

I was worrisome when I first purchased this downpipe for my 2017 M3 ZCP because I didn’t see any reviews or YouTube videos but I took a chance and bought it. This is definitely the best catted downpipe in the price range. It sounds awesome and turns the rasp into a rumble. I have the competition package exhaust which is titanium which also helps. I also didn't get a check engine light when it was installed. I’m running it now with an intercooler, heat exchanger, charge pipes, j pipe, 1 step colder ngk spark plugs, intakes, and a Bootmod3 stage 2 tune. I’ve had no issues and am very satisfied.

I ordered this down-pipe to finally get my 2020 gti ready for a stage 2 tune. 100% worth the money and minimal time it takes for the install. Even with the stock exhaust my car has a much bigger presence on the road now!

Great fit, looks awesome in the engine bay and sounds perfect! Install was not difficult but it was a bit tedious, the hardest part is getting the stock downpipe out, everything gets easy from there. Used the ARM CEL delete kit and it worked with no issues! Would highly recommend

This part is incredible. The install was straight forward, it took a bit of time but ensure you buy the right jack stands and floor jacks. I followed the instructions posted but had to take off one part to completely remove the stock downpipe. Ensure that if you are struggling with the O2 sensor that you use WD40 and an O2 sensor removal kit. Once everything is all said and done the install was easy. Before turning on your car, be sure to update the software. I used Uni Stage 2 and DSG stage 2 tune. I am running the crack and pop file and it is awesome. I just bought the AWE track exhaust to go with this part. You will love the added speed, power, and noise. Highly recommonded.

Let me start off by saying ModdedEuros is one hell of a company. They shipped my package quick and I received it just as fast. On to the down pipe, its extremely high quality, and looks great underneath and cuts a few pounds off the car. The sound, well its sweet, I paired the downpipe with a AWE track edition catback and its perfect. The turbo is significantly louder, spool is better and there is an increase of power. Now onto the cons, It is a tight fit and you have to wrestle with it to make it fit, secondly the hangers for the bushings are to long they rub on the front subframe causing an awful sound, but that can be fixed by putting a piece of rubber in between the hanger and sub frame. And lastly if you have other upgrades such as intake or catback, there is a high chance it will cause the check engine light to come on with the code P0420, or catalyst low on bank one. Its not a big deal, but I would recommend getting a tune to prevent the light from coming on. So overall, extremely happy with my purchase, I got the sound I was looking for, and it does weigh less, but just be for warned about the cons, they aren't deal breakers but they can scare some.

So to mirror another review here, yeah, this thing makes it loud with an aftermarket cat back exhaust. Loud, but it sounds so sick. CTS makes good stuff and I'm happy with this product. A couple things to note there though.
1. As it says in the description, this will throw a CEL. I have 2016 A3 Quattro. You will need to get an O2 spacer to fix this. I got mine from UROTuning, worked like a charm.
2. If you have access to a lift, use it. I had to do this on jack stands and it is not high enough to get the stock downpipe out in one piece. I ended up cutting it to take out in 2 pieces. Be patient, as the instructions say, it will come out just need to be easy with it.
3. This is important. If you have an aftermarket cat back already (mine is a Borla S-Type), this downpipe will NOT be long enough to connect to the cat back. I find it odd that there is no mention of this. I ended up having to go to NAPA to get a custom length of 3" pipe cut and a 3" exhaust pipe sleeve to get it all to work. Not the end of the world but I wish I knew this up front.

All in the A3 sounds bad ass now. It turns heads for sure.

Flex pipe on this downpipe setup is garbage. Leaks like crazy. Brought this to 5 different shops to see if I was going crazy with the leak. Every single one said the leak is coming from the flex pipe. Contacted customer service at CTS, they told me to ship it back to them at the cost of $80, then they "tested" it, said it was fine and sent it back to me. I have replaced the turbo manifold studs, nuts, exhaust clamps, brought it to multiple vw/audi performance shops, independent vw/audi mechanics. Looked things over myself, all coming up with the same result- CTS products are absolute trash. DO NOT BUY. I only bought because it was the only one on the market for my tiguan at the time (2016). It sounds like garbage, customer service is garbage, and their products are absolute garbage. Not sure how they're still on business...

I just put this on my car 2 days ago and is it an improvement from stock. Sounds a lot better not to loud but not stock. The install was pretty easy except for one of the nuts that hold on to the stock down pipe bracket. 100% recommend getting this for your mk7/mk7.5

Bought this for my 1.8T Jetta. Absolutely makes crazy power with a CTS cold air intake and a Stage 2 tune you'll be feeling turbo boost like never before. The car pulled smooth and evenly stock. Now it pulls easy below 2500rpm. Anything over 3500rpm and it'll start pining you in your seat like you've never felt in a Jetta! Im very satisfied with the build and clamps. There aren't any instructions in the box or PDF, but its like a 4 piece Lego set. Very simple to install and its build quality is 10/10. The pipe clamps work well, if you over tighten them the can snap. The only advice is make sure the Downpipe to Turbo clamp is in great condition. Which they usually aren't, most of the time you'll need to replace the OEM Downpipe clamp with a brand new one. Make sure it settles, you can tighten it and think its tight but the lip hasn't settled around the Turbo. Good Luck and Enjoy.
