Great sound !! Only thing that does disturbs me about this. Is the location smh turned into a hassle. It’s better to just remove the turbo. Unfortunately I hurt a coolant line in the process of doing this. I love the product. Shipping was fast as usual. Just giving you a heads up. Especially if you do not work at shop fortunately I do. Took a while to install because of the factory location but the kit made it as easy as possible to install. Sounds wicked!

Just installed a day ago. Easy to install if you watch a YouTube vid, took less than 30 mins. If you are looking for an obnoxious blow off sound. This is it.

Just feels necessary for a turbo car. Makes a great sound, definitely makes people look twice. install took maybe 25 minutes, I knocked it out on my lunch break at work. just google a diagram for the vacuum hose layout because as others have said no instructions came with it. But I mean its 3 bolts, a few vacuum lines, and an electrical connector. Doesnt get much easier.

Easy install, make sure to zip tie the vacuum lines at the nipples to prevent air leak, the spring isn’t mentioned in the install, the spring you find in the package is if you are running 27+ lbs of boost. There is already a spring in the BOV.

I have a 16 passat, which has a different set up and turbo location compared to a golf. It was extremely difficult even with a certified vw mechanic installing it. He said next time, he would rather drain the coolant and yank the turbo out. With that being said, if you dont feel completely comfortable hire someone to put it on.

Overall I love my BOV, worth every penny. It's also comical when it goes off next to someone with a window down. It's very audible from the inside with the windows up. Minimal turbo flutter with all my upgrades. Stage I @ ii apr tune, apr downpipe, k&n typhoon cai, flowmaster cat back exhaust & Ko4 turbo swap

Finally found a mod that makes enough noise that my wife won’t drive my car.

It’s a really nice unit and I like that it’s put together that way you’re not fighting with a spring and trying to keep it together while installing. A 5mm Ball end Hex will save you a ton of grief. I took the top bolts out first and then the bottom while sliding the stock DV back while I backed out the bottom bolt. It kept the bolt in the stock DV hole. It’s loud enough with the windows down but with them up and the radio on it’s not bothersome at all.

I do have a few small issues with it. First, why CTS doesn’t include any paperwork with it is beyond me. There’s an extra spring in the box but no instruction on what it’s for. Second, I wasn’t a fan of how the electric connector zip ties to the PCV hose. I got some self tapping screws and mounted it to the firewall. Third, CTS should include a vacuum diagram with it. There’s one on their website but the colors they use are awful and not useful for someone that’s color blind. Other than that this thing is awesome. Highly recommend

About a 4+ hour job on a 2015 VW Jetta 1.8t. Removing and installing the bolts is by far the hardest and most tedious thing. Job was completed with two people. Tools, bits, and bolts dropped multiple times due to the positioning of the stock valve. But the sound is worth it one way it is completely installed

The included silicone hose has an inner diameter of just over 5mm. The kit includes several small zip ties which I’m going to assume are intended to keep the hose on the nipples for the T fitting, solenoid, and BOV. This seemed sketchy to me, and looks bad... but without them the included hose easily slipped off of some of these fittings. Especially the small T fitting. I ended up jumping on Amazon and got some black silicone hose with a 3.5mm inner diameter and it works great on all fittings WITHOUT the use of zip ties. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who wants to install one of these without ugly zip ties.

Other than that the BOV is awesome. VERY positive actuation and an awesome sound. Very loud and very cool. When driving normally with my MK7.5 GTI with DSG, I can’t even hear it. When building up boost and dumping throttle though, it sneezes quite amazingly. I would definitely buy this again.

It's the sound I was looking for. Build quality is outstanding. Cts instructions made it seem a lot faster job than it turned out to be on a 2016 gen 3, 1.8 tsi but I got it done. Thank you Sean and Modded Euros.

Literally the best sounding BOV for a VW I have heard incredibly loud for not having a tune or any turbo modifications.

This BOV sounds great and is made out of really nice material, I did have a issue with the installation instructions. I gave CTS a call and we were able to to figure it out. They have excellent customer service. It also shipped very quickly.
