Description
Brisk Silver Racing spark plugs are the perfect upgrade for your modified Volkswagen or Audi with a GEN 3 motor. These plugs are one step colder than factory spark plugs meaning they are more suited for cars producing significantly more power over stock. A rule of thumb is when increasing power by 75-100 horsepower, you should go one step colder.
Ideal usage:
These plugs have a Non-projected tip, meaning they are more suited for high boost and heat levels. Recommended for power levels of Stage 2 and above, especially vehicles that see constant high heat situations like a road course.
- Silver is the best electric and heat conductor
- Superior ignition ability
- Lower required supplied ignition voltage
- Good resistance to fouling and easier starts
Spark Plug Construction
• 1.5 mm Silver Fine Wire Center Electrode
• Low ignition voltage requirements (easier for the spark to jump over)
• Reduces stress and wear on your coil and other ignition components
• Fires properly even if partially fouled, where standard plugs will fail
Change interval:
10,000-12,000 Miles
Spark Plug Gap Recommendation:
- 0.024-0.026″
Product Features
- Two-step colder Heat Range
- Silver Is The Best Conductor of Thermal Heat & Electricity
- Ideal for highly tuned vehicles

Follow The OEM removal and Installation procedures:
The very most important rule when checking or adjusting the spark plug gap is, to never pry, apply or exert any force on the spark plug center electrode, or center electrode ceramic insulator. The force should be applied ONLY on the spark plug ground electrode strap moving it closer or further away from the spark plug center electrode. The spark plug gap adjustment should not be changed more than three times and should not exceed .008" in either direction. Excessive changing of the spark plug gap setting will result in weakening of the spark plug ground electrode and can lead to breakage. Also, the spark plug gap should never exceed .055" unless pre-set by the manufacturer.
