AWE tuning's track edition non-resonated cat-back exhaust is made of T304L stainless steel CNC mandrel-bent and the 3'’ and 2.5'' configuration is designed perfectly for the GLI's factory downpipe. Experience a true racing sound with this AWE's track edition exhaust and bring out the best of the GTI's 2.0T engine
Sound Note
The Track Edition was designed for the stock downpipe. If you already have or plan to install a downpipe, we recommend the Touring Edition for a drone-free experience.
Tip Options:
All tip options include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.

This is what the stock GTI exhaust should've sounded like
I bought the AWE Track catback system shortly after buying my 2015 GTI. It took several weeks to arrive, but has since been 100% worth it. The tone is perfect! It is deep and gurgly at low RPM, but opens up quickly as you stomp the throttle. The cackle that happens when you let off to shift is absolutely glorious. This is what the stock GTI exhaust should've sounded like. I would encourage everyone to disable the Soundaktor and buy this system. It's fantastic. My only complaint has to do with the tips. They're difficult to center and adjust. I think it took longer to get the tips lined up than it did to install the system. Other than that though... I love it.

I am very happy with my AWE track exhaust. It is a major difference from the stock sound. Nice rumble in the low rpm and very aggressive in the high rpm.

Excellent exhaust. Fitment was flawless besides the tips and using the clamps providing. They had to be tightened down really good for the tip to be secured and I ended up snapping one from tightening it too much so decided to just spot weld the tips on and not mess with the thin breakable clamps. The rest of the system fit absolutely perfect and didn't need much adjusting to get everything lined up perfect. Exhaust sounds excellent. Does have a tiny bit of drone around 2-2200rpm when under load and a little around 4K rpm but nothing you can't live without. Zero raspy just a deeper tone than stock. Not too loud at all with stock downpipe.

Track edition AWE exhaust
I dig this exhaust. The pipes are much larger than factory, so I know that after I get a downpipe and tune it will allow for more HP. I got the black tips because my car is grey/blackedout and they look awesome. It sounds really good but it isn't as loud as I expected. It's tasteful...no drone....doesn't get you unwanted attention from the police. Don't expect a CRAZY loud exhaust just because the manufacturer warns you about the volume. It's really not that loud. After a downpipe though, i think it'll be perfect.

Excellent!
Installed it with the stock downpipe. Great sound. Subtle difference from stock but it has a nice aggressive tone. Easy to install and the customer service from AWE was excellent when I had fitment issues

AWE Tuning Track edition cat-back exhaust
The exhausts sounds really great after the break in. Give it a week to hear the real sound of the exhausts. I would recommend this exhausts to everyone that want a deeper tone but not too loud and the looks is agressive!

AWE track exhaust
Installation was a breeze. Had to Fab my own union to 3" downpipe, but that was expected. Sounds wild with down pipe and stage 2 map. 😎

NEW EXHAUST!!!!
literally the best exhaust I have ever bought and purchased. I have this with the 3.5 inch CTS turbo downpipe and really happy with my purchase. YouTube videos do not do this any justice.
